About OddsWasp

OddsWasp publishes daily football, basketball and tennis predictions. Our tagline says it all: probabilities, not promises.

How predictions are made

Fixtures come from public sports data feeds. For football, OddsWasp runs an independent Poisson calculation that turns each team's attacking and defensive ratings into expected goals and a full score-probability matrix, from which it derives 1X2, over/under and both-teams-to-score probabilities. For basketball, OddsWasp combines offensive and defensive ratings into projected scores and win probabilities. For tennis (Grand Slams, ATP/WTA 1000 events and the tour Finals), OddsWasp uses Elo ratings that convert the gap between two players' ratings directly into a win probability. When OddsWasp has no rating data for a team or player, it uses a neutral prior — it never invents an edge.

What we are not

We do not sell tips, we do not claim guaranteed wins, and we do not have inside information. A 65% favourite loses about one match in three — that is what probability means. Anyone promising "guaranteed" betting profits is misleading you.

Monetization

The site is funded by advertising and may earn commissions from bookmaker affiliate links, always marked as sponsored. Commercial relationships never influence OddsWasp's predictions — the numbers are computed before any ad is placed.

Responsible gambling

Betting is entertainment with real financial risk, restricted to adults (18+). Never bet money you cannot afford to lose. If gambling stops being fun, seek help: begambleaware.org (UK), jogoresponsavel.pt (PT), joueurs-info-service.fr (FR), jugarbien.es (ES).
